About Arrow Crop Management

ARROW CROP MANAGEMENT

is an agronomic and precision farm consulting company located near Regina, SK.

Ryan Goodwin BSA, P.Ag, CCA

Ryan Goodwin grew up on a grain farm near McCord, Saskatchewan as the middle child of five. Ryan, along with his dad and older brother continue to operate the family farm. Upon graduation from high school, Ryan spent several years working as a farm hand, custom spraying, hauling grain in the winters and working agricultural retail. After several years working, Ryan decided to attend the University of Saskatchewan where he obtained a diploma in agriculture and then a degree in agriculture with a major in agronomy and a minor in agricultural business. While attending university, Ryan worked for several grain companies focusing on expanding his knowledge of agronomy. Upon graduating university, Ryan spent time working in agronomic consulting, farming, and GPS sales and consulting. Prior to the establishment of ARROW CROP MANAGEMENT, Ryan spent several years focused on precision farm consulting in a full-time Geo-Coach role.

Ryan loves nothing more than to contribute to the success of farm operations and feeling the satisfaction of playing a role in pushing yields to new levels.  Seeing firsthand how embracing technology has changed his family’s and others’ farms has pushed Ryan to seek out a role where he is able to help other farmers utilize the advanced equipment that is available to increase the efficiency and productivity of their farms.  Helping growers marry agronomy with technology is what Ryan loves most.

Ryan resides near Regina, SK and serves the surrounding areas. When not working, Ryan enjoys just about anything that involves his four children, Eli, Will, Daniel and Addie.  Next to his family and farming, Ryan’s other main interest is aviation.  Ryan is an instrument rated private pilot and enjoys flying, talking about flying, or dreaming about flying.

Robyn Kary-Lockert BSA, P.Ag, CCA, 4R Designated

Robyn started with Arrow Crop Managment as a summer student in 2017. That summer was spent scouting fields and seeing firsthand the impact an agronomist can make on a farm. Previous to this, Robyn worked multiple summers in large plot canola and lentil research. She finished her degree in agriculture from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018 and returned to Arrow Crop Managment as a full-time agronomist.

Robyn enjoys creating strong relationships on each individual farm and finding unique solutions to reach profitable yield targets. She loves the ability to tailor management plans to each individual field and soil using soil tests, tissue tests, satellite imagery and variable rate technology. Robyn thrives when it comes to technical details and she loves to continuously learn new things.

Robyn grew up on a grain and cattle farm near Vibank, SK. Her and her two brothers were all very active on the farm with both field work and anything to do with the cows. They all continue to be involved with the family farm. Robyn, her husband Kurtis and daughter Hallie currently reside on a farm near Vibank. Robyn enjoys anything that involves spending time with family, including as many camping trips as they can fit into a summer. It's also not uncommon to see her dog, Piper, at her heels everywhere she goes.
